wholesaler

wholesaler
Mktg, Ops
an intermediary who buys in bulk from manufacturers for resale to retailers or other traders. Some wholesalers sell directly to the public. One type of wholesaler is a cash and carry, which offers discounted prices for bulk purchases that are paid for and taken away at the time of sale. Cash and carries traditionally serve the business community, but many now allow the general public to buy from them.
